Project 365 - Week 1 - 2015

Welcome to me.

This is the first time I've linked up to #project365 and I'm excited to document, in photos, my year ahead.

So much can happen in a year, good, bad, happy or sad. It's going to be a busy year for us. Another trip to England, lots of relatives pouring in to stay with us at different times of the year, a wedding and most importantly, Jonathan's growth.

Let me start with Thursday the 1st of January:
While Mum is away, Jonathan will play. Along with singing "Happy Birthday" and playing with Thomas (NON STOP) he is obsessed with drawing or as he likes to call it... 'Pens'. We can't actually drawer on the paper though, it has to go on the sofa, on the walls, on his arm, on the cupboards and on his mouth like he's about to start camouflaging in commando.

Friday the 2nd of January:
Friday was by far, to date this year (I know... there hasn't been many), my favourite morning ever. Why? I hear you ask, because Jonathan slept in. Im not talking 8am or even 8.30am, I got 9.45am. I kid you not. Please don't hate me and stop reading, I assure you, it probably won't ever happen again, well maybe when he's a teenager.

Saturday the 3rd of January:
He was having a hose down. Apparently the pool wasn't good enough so the hose would do. What more do you want on a 35 degree day? I took Jonathan out of swimming over the winter and I'm yet to enrol him back in for the summer. For now, 2 or 3 swims a week at Aunty Claudia's house will do. It's perfect memory making.

Sunday the 4th of January:
It's Fro-Yo time! Another 35 degree day, I had to pick up my laptop from the Apple store so before we faced the outside heat it was time for his favourite treat. This photo was taken about 1 minute before he decided that mine tastes better, my spoon was nicer and tantrum number 458 set in.

Thank you for taking the time to see my week in pictures and thank you the lovely The Boy and Me for giving me the opportunity to link up for the first time.

If like me, you're new too, then please feel free to start your #365project. You can find all the details here:

Love and happiness to you all,

  2. 9.45 sounds blissful. H is 7 and he's never managed past 7.30, so very envious.

    1. It was extra special as it was my only day off all week. I'll just keep thinking he knew that.

  4. He is a real sweetie, I love his little face. I love how he sleeps with his mouth open, and who wouldn't love him sleeping until 9.45? The Boy has once managed a 10am but usually it's 7.

Thanks for linking up to Project 365.
